Congratulations to Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali (DS SJ) on being appointed as the Advisor and Patron to the Intelligence Corps Veterans, Penang State with effect from 2021 at a short event held at MCPF Penang Office (IPK P. Pinang) on 18th September 2021. Attendees from MCPF Penang included SLC Member cum SPU DLC Chairman Munusamy Muniandy and Haribalan Gopal (SPU DLC Member). KVRM Penang was represented by Encik Mohd Ismail bin Jainal Abidin, Chairman of Penang State KVRM and Encik Mohd Yaakob bin Syed Ismail, Deputy Chairman of Penang State KVRM. With effect 2021, Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali (DS SJ) had been appointed as Advisor and Patron of the Intelligence Corp Veterans, for Penang State. For info DS SJ was formerly a specialist in Strategic and Security cum Counter Intelligence. He had served with the Ministry of Defence DISD Strategic and Security/Counter Intelligence Department as well as with the High Commission Malaysia, in Canberra, Australia: Research Division of the Prime Ministers Department; as well as short stints with various States and other Departments as Operational requirements dictates.
