MCPF Penang SLC Member Paramguru Balan A/L Moghan was part of an entourage who participated in a “60^th Merdeka Adventure” around Penang Island on 1^st Sept 2017. This ‘community outreach’ event under the auspices of Persatuan Kebajikan Silatur Kasih Fathim in collaboration with PDRM was an ‘adventure’ of sorts with members of “FATHIM” (Far Thinking Intelligent Malaysian – comprising of adults over 18 years old from the whole of Malaysia – including Sabah and Sarawak) visiting homes of aged enabling the distribution of food and cash. This meaningful program helps to emphasize harmony, peace, prosperity, congeniality, safety / crime free atmosphere whilst helping the needy. PDRM distributed Awareness Pamphlets during to the communities that they reached out to. Poignantly, the group showed their benevolent side by paying a visit to the mother of the late T. Nheevan (the victim of the senseless bullying case in June 2017).
