MCPF Penang Secretary / SPT DLC Chairman Dr. EL Ching attended the ‘Majlis Penyampaian Pingat Polis Bantuan MBSP’ (Police Service Medal Presentation Ceremony for Auxiliary Police of City Council of Seberang Perai) at the MBSP Headquarters at Bandar Perda in Bukit Mertajam on 21^st February 2020 officiated by YDH CP Dato’ Narenasagaran Thangaveloo, Chief Police Officer of Penang. In attendance from MCPF were also ASP P/B Amirul Ariff bin Abdul Rahman, ex-Officio MCPF Penang SLC Member / SPS DLC Treasurer; Paramaguru Balan Moghan, MCPF Penang SLC Member / SPS DLC Chairman; Jimmy Choo Chin Nam, SPS DLC Member. Former MCPF Penang ex-Officio Member (MBSP) Nazri Abdul Wahab was also spotted. In the Award Ceremony, 20 MBSP Auxiliary Policemen were presented with the Pingat Kebaktian (PK). CP Dato’ Narenasagaran congratulated the MBSP Mayor Dato’ Rozali Mohamud and all auxiliary policemen for rising up to the challenges of serving the public with integrity and to the best of their abilities. The current 30 strong MBSP Auxiliary Police comprises of an Assistant Superintendent (ASP Amirul Ariff bin Abdul Rahman), an inspector, a sergeant-major, four sergeants, four corporals, four lance corporals and 15 constables.
