MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran and SLC Member cum SPS DLC Secretary Paramguru Balan Moghan were invited to Pesta Pongal (Harvest Festival) 2018 that was organized by the Parents-Teachers Association of the Sekolah Kebangsaan Methodist Nibong Tebal on 17^th February 2018. Dato’ K. Pulayantran did the honors of officiating at this gathering and he also addressed the audience on Crime Prevention Awareness. Also present were Encik Balakrishnan (Information Officer, SPS); Dato’ Subramaniam (YDP SK Methodist Nibong Tebal); Dato’ Sani (District Officer, SPS) and Encik Surinder Singh (Timbalan YDP SK Methodist Nibong Tebal). Pongal signifying plentiful harvesting reflects on having abundance and prosperity. This spreading of goodwill is the continued outreach to the Indian community to inculcate good citizenship that can influence a ‘crime-free’ society to flourish.
