MCPF Barat Daya DLC Chairman Mr. James Mohan was invited to officiate the National Day 2025 Celebrations at SJK (T) Sungai Ara on 29^th August 2025. The Program encompassed: 1. Opening; 2. National anthem; 3. State anthem; 4. Tamil “Thai Valthu” (Invocation of Mother Tamil) song; 5. School principal’s welcoming address (Madam Pathmalosani Subramaniam); 6. Keynote address by guest of honor (Mr. James Mohan); 7. Launching of the celebration gimmick by Mr. James Mohan; 8. Malaysian traditional costume parade; 9. Signing of Independence Memorandum sketch by pupils; 10. Multi racial dance performance; 11. Rendition of patriotic song by all attendees; 12. Group photograph; 13. Breakfast; 14. End.

This joyous Program celebrating the 68^th Anniversary of our beloved nation’s Independence was well attended by 122 pupils and 14 school teachers. It covered the key objectives including the school celebrating National Day with great enthusiasm and pride; the pupils proudly waving the Jalur Gemilang in their multi ethnic traditional costumes and the celebration holding great significance as it helps young pupils to appreciate the sacrifices of past leaders, understand the values of independence and develop a sense of patriotism.
