MCPF Barat Daya DLC’s Chairman James Mohan, Secretary Puan Arina binti Mohamed Ali, Treasurer Puan Nadzirah binti Omar and Committee Member Thomas Devasagayam participated in AADK’s “Drug Free Run 2024 – Penang Lawan Ancaman Dadah” on 28^th April 2024 held at Bayan Baru’s Giant Hypermarket and surrounding area. This sports event was held in conjunction with the Penang State Level Anti-Drug Day Commemoration Year 2024 and organized by AADK Daerah Barat Daya in collaboration with the Barat Daya Youth and Sports Office. This 5 km Fun Run which commenced at 6:45 am attracted over 600 participants. It was perfectly graced by the presence of the Deputy Director General (Operations) of AADK YBrs. Tuan Khairul Anwar Bachok; Director of Penang State AADK YBrs. Puan Elmariah Chung; South-West District Officer Tuan Mohd Hafiz Aswad bin Nadzri as well as South-West District Youth and Sports Officer Encik Muhammad Daniel bin Haris Nasation. This Event is also among the initiatives to broaden the anti-drug campaign and to help ignite the implementation of the Greening Program of High Risk Areas (Kawasan Berisiko Tinggi – KBT) Drug Addiction of Mukim 12, Barat Daya District.
