
A 3 Days “Global Explorers International Co-Curriculum Camp 2025 Malaysia – Thailand – Indonesia” (Program Perkhemahan Unit Badan Beruniform Peringkat Antarabangsa 2025) organized by SJKT Ramathasar with Pusat Kokurikulum Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Pulau Pinang was successfully concluded on Friday 12th September 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Pusat Kokurikulum, Bukit Mertajam, P. Pinang.
Congratulations to the Organizing Team headed by SJKT Ramathasar Penang School Principal Mr. Vinod Thulukannam and SJKT Ladang Transkrian School Penang Principal Mr. Maruthamuthu.
The distinguished Asian Delegates were Doktorandus Bapak Zulfahmi (Pegawai Balai Besar Indonesia) and Mrs. Nioin Kaewtijit (Assistant Director of Phromcharerm Wittaya School Thailand).
Participants: This Program was blessed with the presence of 38 Teachers and 220 Students from the 3 participating countries. Special Guests who graced the Program included: 1. YBhg. Dato’ Seri Pulayantran Kayambu, Deputy Chairman MCPF Penang / MCPF Federal EXCO; 2. Tuan ASP Yogeshperen Ganesan, Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Daerah SPT; 3. En. Yusparizal, Penolong Pengarah Pusat Kokurikulum Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Pulau Pinang; 4. Encik Norazlan bin Haji Idris, Corporate General Manager MCPF Federal; 5. Mr. Bala Karupiah, Operations & Corporate Communication Manager MCPF Federal; and 6. Puan Nurfarliza binti Kamarazaman, Administration & Finance Manager MCPF Federal.

Summary:
A. Speaker 1: Speech was delivered by Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran to all the students emphasizing on the dangers of bullying among the students, focusing on the psychological impacts of bullying, the different forms of bullying, including cyberbullying, and strategies to combat bullying such as fostering a supportive environment, raising awareness, and empowering individuals to speak up.
B. Speaker 2: ASP. Yogeshperen Ganesan highlighted the defining characteristics of Bullying as being likened to a crime, involving an imbalance of power between the bully and the victim, as well as repeated aggressive behavior. He explained the harm and lasting consequences of Bullying and that it could lead to severe mental health issues, substance abuse, and even suicide, with its adverse impacts that can be long-lasting and profound, particularly with the permanent footprint of cyberbullying. He further stressed that Bullying could escalate to more serious acts where some bullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior, and can contribute to a pattern of violence. C. Speaker 3. Mr. Bala Karupiah covered the Preventative Measures and Solutions including: Educating school children about recognizing what bullying is so they can identify and report it; Fostering Open Communication encouraging dialogue between parents and children to encourage reporting of bullying experiences; Implementing school based Peer Support Systems to inculcate a culture of respect and safety for all students; and, Engaging Holistic Approaches throughout the entire education sector, including students, teachers, and administrators to prevent bullying and violence.
