Program Townhall Keselamatan Peringkat Negeri Pulau Pinang Sempena Sambutan Jubli Emas KRT Tahun 2025 was held on 17th August 2025 (Sunday) 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Mydin Wholesale Hypermarket, Jalan Kubang Menderung, Bandar Putra Bertam, 13200 Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang. MCPF Penang led by Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng was among invitees to grace the program. He was accompanied by Secretary Mr. JM Tan; SPU DLC Chairman Mr. Munusamy Muniandy; SPT DLC Chairman Encik. Ridzuan Md Zain (who was in attendance as part and parcel of his role as a Mediator Komuniti / [Community Mediator]) and SLC Member Encik Rahumat Ibrahim.

The program was officiated by the Penang State Director of Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional Yang Berusaha En. Rohai Zahar bin Nedi. Also present were YDH ASP Nor Faisal bin Mohd, Division Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety, IPD SPU (also MCPF SPU DLC Vice-Chairman [I] ex-officio); and Tuan Zulkhairi bin Zainol, Deputy Director, Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional, Negeri Pulau Pinang (also MCPF Penang SLC ex-officio Member [Jabatan Perpaduan]). Two speakers from MKN (Majlis Keselamatan Negara) and PDRM delivered interactive talks with the audience in attendance. Their presentations were entitled “Kesedaran Keselamatan Awam” and “Ancaman Extremis dalam Masyarakat” respectively. In his official address Encik Rohai Zahar bin Nedi highlighted the crucial support and role of PDRM Special Branch (Cawangan Khas) in Community Safety and Security. He thanked JPJKK and other key volunteer bodies like KRT (Kawasan Rukun Tetangga) for their Community involvement. He also acknowledged other NGOs like MCPF in propagating Crime Prevention and other Agencies in being responsive in times of Crisis and Natural Disasters. This was a good opportunity for MCPF Penang to demonstrate its support for Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional and PDRM as Strategic Partners in a Public Community Program.
