MCPF Penang Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng chaired a ‘Focus Meeting’ on SCAM QR Code (Mini-App Infographics) Launch on Thursday 10th Oct 2024 at PGC. Also in attendance were: YBhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran (Deputy Chairman); Mr. JM Tan (Secretary); Mr. James Mohan (Barat Daya DLC Chairman); Mr. Paramaguru Balan Moghan (SPS DLC Chairman); Encik Ridzuan Md Zain (SPT DLC Chairman); Mr. Munusamy Muniandy (SPU DLC Chairman); Mr. Joseph Sawaremuthu (Committee Member); and, Dr. Kiew Hen Chong (Committee Member). It was a productive meeting where Mr. JM Tan updated all present on what had transpired in the meeting with PDRM on the subject matter at IPK P. Pinang on 3^rd October 2024. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng iterated how important this SCAM QR Code (Mini-App Infographics) Launch is and that the SLC Committee and DLCs must give their utmost support. He stated that we have to work closely in tandem with all stakeholders / targeted audiences to have a committed role in the fight against SCAMs. Yet another step to the eventual Launch.
