MCPF Penang Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali extended his warm congratulations to YDH Dato’ Sri Acryl Sani bin Hj. Abdullah Sani on his appointment as Malaysia’s 13^th Inspector-General of Police effective 4^th May 2021. His appointment was formalized by the Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin at ceremony at the Home Ministry on 30h April 2021. Dato’ Sri Acryl Sani was the Deputy IG and replaced Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador whose two year contract ended on Monday 3^rd May 2021. Dato’ Sri Acryl Sani has previously led the Commercial Crime Investigation Department; the Strategic Resources and Technology Department; and the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department at Bukit Aman. MCPF Penang also extends its best wishes to Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador on his future endeavours.
