MCPF PenangDeputy Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran was the Guest of Honor in attendance at MCPF Barat Daya’s outreach program to SJK(T) Bayan Lepas, Permatang Damar Laut on 23^rd August 2024. The Program “Ceramah Motivasi ‘Harmoni Bersama – Tolak Bullying dengan Semangat Kemerdekaan bersempena Hari Kebangsaan untuk murid-murid SJK(T) Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang” which was attended by 16 Teachers and 109 Primary school students. MCPF Barat Daya DLC Chairman Mr. James Mohan accompanied by Puan Nadzirah binti Omar (PPD Daerah Barat Daya cum Treasurer), Mr. Gideon Lau Sing Kwang (Committee Member) and Mr. Nicholas Chang Gim Hooi (Committee Member). SJK(T) School Headmistress Puan Kavitha Parimal, Senior Assistant I Puan Sarojini Muthu and Senior Assistant of Student Affairs Puan Komala Karthigesu, 16 School Teachers, 109 students and their parents were in attendance. Puan Kavitha Parimal delivered the Welcome Address whilst Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran delivered the Keynote Address and a Motivational speech. James Mohan gave an interactive talk entitled “Say NO to Bullying!” In conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day Celebrations, Jalur Gemilang mini flags were distributed to the attendees helping to provide a sense of patriotism. The sing along of patriotic song “Tanggal 31” lifted the cheerfulness of the occasion. Thanks to Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran for his sponsorship of the mini-flags and luncheon. This was a successful program that helped to meet the Key Objectives of 1) Promote a positive learning environment; 2) Encouraging respect and responsibility by observing good discipline in schools and at home. 3) Better awareness on the critical message of saying NO to Bullying which covered the 4 common types of bullying namely Verbal,  Physical, Psychological, Cyber; 4) Instilling patriotism among the students and 5) Accentuating good values to be followed as students.
