MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran was accompanied by other MCPF Penang SLC, SPU DLC and Timur Laut DLC Members to attend the Program Jalinan Kasih Penerapan Nilai-nilai Keinsanan & Moral (Segmen: Agama dan Kerohanian) / [Application of Human and Moral Values (Segment: Religion & Spirituality) Program] at the Hindu Mahajana Sangam Hall, Jalan Kebun Bunga, Penang on 28th August 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Attendees Included: 1. YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo Somu (Penang State Executive Council Member for Housing and Environment); 2. Encik Mohd Yazid bin Mohd Noor (Head of AADK Timur Laut District); 3. Mr. Elango Govindasamy (Chairman of Jawatankuasa Rawatan Pemulihan Dadah [JKPD] Timur Laut District; 4. Mr. Muniandy Kuppusamy (Chairman of Kawasan Rukun Tetangga [KRT] Pangsapuri Pelangi); 5. Mr. Chandraseagar Veerapan (Chairman of KRT Padang Kota); 6. Mr. Muniandy Kanapathy (Deputy Chairman of Hindu Mahajana Sangam Penang); 7. Sjn. Punithan (PDRM IPD Timur Laut, Penang, Narcotics Dept). MCPF Penang Attendees were: 1. YBhg. Dato’ Seri Pulayantran Kayambu (Deputy Chairman, MCPF Penang); 2. Mr. Munusamy Muniandy (Chairman, SPU DLC); 3. Mr. Joseph Sawaremuthu (Committee Member SLC Penang); 4. Mr. Haribalan Gopal (Secretary, SPU DLC); 5. Mr. Peter Paul Arokiyasamy (Secretary, Timur Laut DLC); 6. Mr. Kathiraveloo Thangiah (Committee Member, Timur Laut DLC); and 7. En. Adriel Jefryzal Albert bin Abdullah (Committee Member Timur Laut DLC).

Brief Summary: 1. Main goal of the program is to instill a sense of respect for oneself and others, including family and the community. 2. Clients are given talks to help them appreciate the values of family and social responsibility, which can motivate them to stay away from drugs and strive for self-improvement. 3. The talks also emphasized that clients should change their attitude from seeing themselves as victims of circumstance while recognizing the importance of human values, concern for themselves and others, and fostering a sense of empathy and compassion. 4. Overall, this program plays an important role in empowering clients with humanistic and moral values, thereby helping them rebuild a more positive, meaningful, and responsible life.
