MCPF Penang Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali chaired the State Liaison Committee Meeting 03/2019 at USM’s Security Meeting Room on 29^th August 2019. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar underlined the importance of ensuring that the forthcoming 5^th International Security Seminar needed the continued drive for participants. He also thanked members of the Organizing Committee present for the steadfast dedication and commitment in the preparation and planning of this upcoming event. During this SLC Meeting Letters of Appointment were handed out to two (out of three) ex-Officio Members  i.e. ASP (PB) Amirul Ariff bin Abdul Rahman of MPSP and Cikgu Hassan Din of the Penang State Education Department. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar reiterated the need for all SLC Members who were involved in Programs, Events and Activities to keep the District Liaison Committee Chairman / Members posted as and when these were being conducted within their geographical domain. Members in attendance were also briefed that a series of Crime Prevention Programs / Events would be organized and carried out in conjunction with the upgrading of Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MPSP) to Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai (MBSP) effective Hari Malaysia 16^th September 2019.
