MCPF Penang Members who are also PENSEC (Penang Security Practitioners Association) Members attended the 16th PENSEC AGM on Thursday 15th May 2025 / 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm held at Dewan Mutiara, Pen Mutiara Hotel, Batu Maung, Penang.

MCPF Penang attendees included:

1. Mr. JM Tan (Penang SLC Secretary); 2. Mr. James Mohan (Barat Daya DLC Chairman); 3. Encik Ridzuan Md Zain (SPT DLC Chairman); 4. Encik Rahmat Ibrahim (SLC Member); 5. Mr. Victor Lim Kok Hooi (SLC Member); 6. Mr. Peter Paul Arokiyasamy (Timur Laut DLC Secretary); 7. Mr. Matthew Selvaretnam (MCPF Member); and, 8. Encik Adriel Jefryzal Albert bin Abdullah (MCPF Member).

The Agenda covered: 1. Welcome Address by MC Victor Lim Kok Hooi; 2. Talk by JPJ Penang Puan Azline binti Azizan “Awareness on Road Safety”; 3. 16th PENSEC AGM; 4. Election of new Office Bearers; 5. Lucky Draw / Networking High Tea; 6. End.

Highlights involving MCPF fraternity:

1. Victor Lim ensured smooth proceedings as the Master of Ceremony; 2. James Mohan was elected as one of the 5 Committee Members for the new Term of Office;

3. JM Tan was elected to another Term as an Auditor; 4. Peter Paul Arokiyasamy was also elected as the 2nd Auditor;

5. Good awareness on Road Safety for the audience from the JPJ Talk which highlighted being alert / importance of proper vehicle conditions / main accident prone spots;

In summary: The involvement of MCPF Penang (SLC, DLC Members & Ordinary MCPF Members) in PENSEC is a plus point for being more cognizant of the impact of Security Practitioners on the importance of the stability of industries / premises from Security requirements aspects and focus on keeping premises Crime Free.

From a wider perspective of collaborations in crime prevention and awareness programs MCPF can look forward to greater cooperation with PENSEC.
