The Program Itinerary included various activities / programs for the crowds in attendance (estimated at over 2,000): 1. Keynote Speech and Launch by YB Lim Siew Khin, State Assemblyman for Sungai Pinang / State EXCO for Social, Welfare and non-Islamic Affairs / PWDC Board of Directors); 2. Oath Taking / Recital by participants; 3. A strong demonstration / solidarity by all in attendance to “Break the Silence: Jangan Dok Diam”! 4. Kudos to MCPF Federal Secretariat/ MCPF Penang for its Exhibition Booth with Crime Prevention pamphlets; literature; Signature Pledge banner; Quad lingual. MCPF reference material on Anti-Bullying. 5. YB Lim Siew Khin accompanied by YBhg. Dato’ Ong Bee Leng, CEO of Penang Women’s Development Corporation (PWDC) visited the Exhibition booths. Also present was YB Phee Syn Tze, State Assemblyman for Sungai Puyu (PWDC Board of Directors);. 6. MCPF Penang Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng was among the dignitaries who joined YB Lim Siew Khin, Dato Ong Bee Leng and other fellow leaders of involved organizations on stage during the Official Launching Ceremony / Oath Taking.

Conclusion: The earlier Evening shower did not dampen the spirits of the participants who helped ‘Light up the Night’ with the Orange Glow Sticks. The crowd was made to understand that Domestic Violence can be curtailed and reduced dramatically with everyone playing their part to avoid the “Bystander Syndrome”. Crowds that visited the MCPF Exhibition booth were provided awareness on Fighting Crime Together; Forced Labour; Healthy Living without Drugs; Safe Campus Life; Anti-Bullying; School Safety; in addition to this year’s PGO 2025 Theme speaking up against Domestic Violence especially of Women and Children.
