National Anti-Drugs Agency Seberang Perai Tengah District conducted a Program “Security is our Responsibility Together” under Education Segment coinciding with a Program In Reducing KBT (Kawasan Risiko Tinggi) Drug Addiction in Mukim 16 Daerah Seberang Perai Tengah as a Focus on “Greening of Red Zone 2025”. The Program “CERAMAH PROGRAM KESELAMATAN TANGGUNGJAWAB BERSAMA SEGMEN PENDIDIKAN PROGRAM PENGURANGAN KBT PENAGIHAN DADAH MUKIM 16 DAERAH SEBERANG PERAi TENGAH” was conducted at SMK Machang Bubuk, MK 16, SPT on 31st July 2025 from 8.00 am – 12.00 noon. In attendance were Schools Teachers: 1. Pn. Rosidah binti Salleh – PK HEM; 2. En. Muhammad Husaini bin Ahmad Suhaimi; 3. Pn. Muhamad Sharifuddin bin Tahir; 4. Pn. Julia binti Johari; and, 5. Pn. Halimaton Aini binti Md Tajuddin with a targeted audience of 100 Students (Male 65 / Female 35). Representatives from AADK included: 1. Pn Suraiti binti Ahmed Rasidi – Penolong Pegawai AntiDadah SPT; 2. En. Noi Boon Nam a/l Nai Jeem; 3. En. Sahar bin Ramli; and 4. Pn. Siti Noor Aishah binti Md. Noor. MCPF attendees included: 1. YBhg. Dato M. Kaleesswaran (SLC) MCPF Pulau Pinang; 2. En. Ridzuan bin Md Zain (SPT DLC Chairman); and, 3. En Muhammad Farouk bin Abdullah (DLC SPT).

Objective and Activities: 1. Fostering a good practice by disseminating information about drugs abuse/menace and security awareness; 2. A reminder to be taken by the students from involvement in immoral behaviours, and an insight of threats of drugs usage that could lead to being an incorrigible person; 3. An exhibition of drugs was held by AADK to provide engagement and heightened learning; 4. Inducing the love to our Nation by making the students shoulder the responsibility of stable security and avoiding negative issues; 5. A briefing was done by YBhg. Major (K) Dato’ M. Kaleessvaran (MCPF) who shared the topic of Crime Prevention among Students entitled “Keselamatan, Tanggungjawab Bersama” _ Pencegahan Jenayah dikalangan Pelajar” covering insights on why crime is being committed or occurs and that student needs to take preventive measures such as not to be involved in drugs or alcohol, avoiding bad companionship, being absent from school and critically to having a purpose in life. (9.00 am – 10.00 am); 6. A short lecture was conducted by: Puan Suriati binti Ahmed Rasidi – “Dadah Pemusnah Dan Perosak” (10:30 am to 11:30 am).
