MCPF Penang Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng led a delegation from MCPF Penang that included Deputy Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran, Secretary Mr. Johnny Michael Tan & Treasurer Mr. Harikumar Katherasen on a Courtesy Visit to YDH CP Dato’ Ts Azizee bin Ismail, Chief Police Officer of Penang at the Bilik Tetamu, Seri Mutiara, Penang Police Contingent Headquarters on Wednesday 17th December 2025 afternoon. The main purpose of this visit was to strengthen the collaborative and cooperative relationship between the Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent and Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation, Penang. Special emphasis on Crime Prevention efforts, Information Sharing and the Implementation of Community Safety Programs along the Community were discussed.

Key focus and attention on current issues / challenges like pervasive Scams with ongoing PDRM-MCPF efforts on the SCAM Awareness QR Code Poster displays; Bullying in schools and pertinent countermeasures; and Drug menace were touched upon. The upcoming 17th Asian Criminological Society Conference in mid-2026 was briefly highlighted. Also present at this Courtesy Visit were Head of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, YDH SAC Puspanathan a/l Wiresingam; Head of the Management Department, YDH ACP Razlam bin Ab Hamid; and Acting Head of the Special Branch, YDH ACP Poopathy a/l Jayabalan.
