MCPF Penang Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato Ong Poh Eng led Penang SLC Members to a successful courtesy visit to the office of YDH CP Dato’ Mohd Shuhaily bin Mohd Zain and his Senior RMP staff at the Bilik Mesyuarat Utama IPK P. Pinang on 21^st March 2022 at 3:30 pm. YDH Dato’ Ketua Polis introduced his Sr. Police Officers present from OCCI, JPJKK, Narcotics, Administration and Commercial Crime. MCPF Penang SLC Members present were then reciprocally introduced to YDH Dato’ KP and his Senior Officers by its Secretary JM Tan.  YDH CP Dato’ Mohd Shuhaily shared his and PDRM’s perspectives on the pursuit of Crime Prevention Awareness efforts through sustainable, measureable and effective programs with focused public engagement. He stressed the importance of working together with MCPF to ensure success at State and District levels. Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ong Poh Eng responded on the importance of collaborative and cooperative approaches that PDRM and MCPF could and should pursue. Recurring themes on issues pertaining to youths in society, scourge of the drug menace and important roles of parents / guardians were discussed. This interactive visit ended at 5:00 pm with a vote of thanks and appreciation from both parties.
