MCPF Penang SLC and Timur Laut DLC Members were present at the Penang State & Northeast District Anti-Smoking & Anti-Vaping Campaign Launch at SMK Air Itam on 13^th December 2023. MCPF Penang SLC was led by its Chairman YBhg. Dato’ Seri Ong Poh Eng accompanied by Secretary Johnny Michael Tan, Timur Laut DLC Chairman & SLC Member Felix Chuah Gim Chuan, Committee Member Joseph Sawaremuthu, Committee Member Rahumathullah Ibrahim and ex-officio (JPNPP) SLC Member Cikgu Fadzil Sadikin. MCPF DLC Members included Vice-Chairman (II) YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Nashir Ya, Secretary Peter Paul Arokiyasamy, Treasurer Teoh Kheng Tatt, Committee Member Sally Ng Chit Peng and Committee Member En. Mohd Mursalin bin Ramli @Yusof, PPD Timur Laut.

The Welcome Speech was by YBrs. En. Sabri bin Mohd Idris, School Principal and the Official Speech and Launching of Healthy Living Campaign: Stop Cigarette Smoking and Vaping by the Ministry of Education 2023 was by YDH Tuan Haji Wan Sajiri bin Wan Hassan, State Education Assistant Director, Planning & Administration, (District Education Offices – JPNPP). PDRM Attendees included YDH SAC Puspanathan a/l Wiresingam, Head of JPJKK P. Pinang representing YDH CP Dato’ Khaw Kok Chin, Chief Police Officer, Penang; YDH ACP Mohd Norazlan bin Abd Razak, Deputy HOD, JPJKK P. Pinang; YDH Supt. Ganesan Chinapan, JPJKK P. Pinang Sr. Officer; ASP Karuna, OCS Balai Polis Air Itam and other Police Officers. Other Penang Education and School Attendees included YBrs. Encik Mohd Azhar bin Bastron, YDP PIBG SMK Air Itam; Heads of Departments and Officers of JPNPP; Division Heads & Officers of PPD Timur Laut; Northeast District School Principals; School Administrators and School Teachers of SMK Air Itam and over 300 students from SMK Air Itam. A choir performance was also included by pupils from neighboring school SK Seri Indah.
