MCPF Penang SLC Member / MCPF SPS DLC Chairman Paramaguru Balan Moghan, MCPF Penang SLC Member / MCPF Barat Daya DLC Chairman James Mohan, MCPF Penang SLC Member Maj. (H) M. Kaleessvaran, MCPF Penang SLC Member Joseph Sawaremuthu in collaboration with Habib (NGO) valued the important roles of frontliners (PDRM and others) within Penang Island Districts and Mainland Districts in their functions during current challenges of managing Covid-19 pandemic. They teamed up to raise funds individually to enable the contribution of face masks, drinks and food stuffs to frontliners manning road blocks on 31^st January 2021. The items were distributed at Bayan Baru Police Station (Daerah Barat Daya); Kampung Jawa road block (Daerah Barat Daya); Penang Second Bridge road block (Daerah Barat Daya); Sungai Nibong road block (Daerah Timur Laut); Bertam Road Block (Daerah Seberang Perai Utara); Simpang Ampat / Juru toll / Valdor road blocks (Seberang Perai Selatan); Juru Toll (Sebarang Perai Tengah) and JPAM (Seberang Perai Selatan). Additionally, face masks and drinks were contributed in conjunction with an NGO’s blood donation campaign in Alma, Bukit Mertajam. Kudos to the team who were inspired by previous similar efforts undertaken by Y.Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali towards hospitals and Police road blocks aided by the military in mid-2020.
