
Program Lawatan Balai Polis: Balai Polis Cermelang MCPF 2024. BP Kawasan Bandar / Urban: Balai Polis Bukit Tengah (Seberang Perai Tengah) was successfully completed on Wednesday 23rd October 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:15 am. MCPF Pusat Delegates comprised of 1. YBhg. Datuk Kamarudin Md Ali (EXCO, MCPF Federal); 2. YBhg. Dato’ Seri K. Pulayantran (EXCO, MCPF Federal); 3. YBrs. Dr. Puan Wan Su (EXCO, MCPF Federal); and, 4. YBrs. Tuan Zulhairi bin Zainol (Deputy Director, JPNIN, Pulau Pinang). They were accompanied by 1. YDH ASP Azwan bin Saffiai (Liaison Officer, Bukit Aman); 2. Mr. Bala Karupiah (Operations & Corporate Communications Manager, MCPF Secretariat); and, 3. Encik Muhammad Sahrul Zainal Abidin (Executive – Operations, MCPF Secretariat). PDRM: 1. OCPD SPT YDH Tuan ACP Helmi bin Aris; 2. OCS Balai Bukit Tengah, Insp. Nadzri; 3. Police officers IPK P. Pinang; 4. Police officers IPD SPT; 5. Police Officers / Staff Balai Polis Bt. Tengah. MCPF Penang SLC delegates present were 1. YBhg. Mej (K) Dato’ M. Kaleessvaran, SLC, MCPF Penang; and, 2. Ridzuan Md Zain, DLC SPT Chairman, DLC SPS. Representatives from various agencies and communities were also in attendance. The Agenda covered: 1. Speech by Tuan ACP Helmi bin Aris; 2. Speech by Datuk Kamarudin Md Ali; 3. Introduction and presentation about Balai Bukit Tengah by Insp. Nadzri. 4. Six ‘Open Questions’ read out by Datuk Kamarudin bin Md Ali to the community attendees; 5. Mr. Bala Karupiah from MCPF Pusat distributed 2 sets of questionnaires for assessment of services rendered to the public by the Bukit Tengah Police Station. 6. Q&A by the public to OCS Balai Bukit Tengah 7. Group photographs. Key Summary / Highlights: A. Bukit Tengah Police Station was built in 1969, officially opened in 1972; B. Strength, 1 Insp. 55 personnel, 1 civilian; C. Ratio about 1: 2000 serving for people as the population in this area about / more (190,000) and having about 1914 factories (Mega/SMI); D. MCPF play a significant role in judging for 4 categories of police District/station nationwide and the rewards will be determined such as visitation to other countries police stations.
