
MCPF Seberang Perai Selatan DLC met up with PDRM IPD SPS and PPD SPS on 16th August 2024 to discuss on Crime Prevention Awareness Programs for the SPS Community on 16th August 2024 at the Jawi Golf Club Meeting Room. In attendance from MCPF SPS DLC were its DLC Chairman Mr. Paramaguru Balan Moghan; Vice-Chairman II Mr. Arumugam a/l Rajoo; Secretary Mr. Jarmy Goh Jiun Ming; Treasurer Mr. Ng Seng Hing; Committee Member Ms May Lee Hooi Pheng and Committee Member Mr. Komagan a/l Lingam. Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) SPS were represented by its Deputy PPD SPS for Student Development Sector Puan Hajah Siti Fadzilah bt Omar (who is also MCPF SPS DLC Committee Member) and its Assistant PPD for HEM Muhammad Zuhairi bin Zolkiplee. IPD SPS Bahagian Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti (BPJKK) attendees included Insp. Nurul Assyikin binti Abd Rahman (who is also MCPF SPS DLC Vice-Chairman I [ex-officio]); Sub-Insp. Kanagasundaram a/l Jayaran; Sergeant Ahmad Shalabu Shokury bin Hamdan; Sergeant Mad Noor bin Abu; Korporal Mohammad Najib bin Zainudin and Korporal Mohd Alwi bin Ahmad. The key objectives of this dialogue was to 1. Discuss on programs and collaborations between PDRM, MCPF and PPD in addressing student discipline issues in schools; 2. Controlling and combating crimes and the threat of drugs / substances among SPS school students; 3. Organizing programs to monitor discipline among secondary and primary SPS school students and 4. Preventing the spread of negative activities from outside into schools through three-way cooperation
