MCPF SPS DLC represented by its Chairman Mr. Paramaguru Balan Moghan and Committee Member Mr. Komagan a/l Lingam were invited by PPD SPS to attend a School Adoption Program focusing on STEM (Science Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). In attendance from PPD SPS were Puan Hajah Siti Fadzilah binti Omar, Deputy PPD – Student Development Sector (also the MCPF SPS DLC Committee Member); Puan Nor Azhar binti Che Mat; and, Mr. Mogan Sigeran.

The Program activities included 1. Providing guidance to students to be active in co-curricular activities; 2. Shaping students to be moral and to avoid crime; 3. Instilling noble values through co-curricular activities to prevent crime; 4. Mr. Paramaguru Balan Moghan – as a former engineer will be providing advice and guidance on the STEM (Engineering) project that SJK(T) Nibong Tebal students will participate in at the Penang state level; 5. School STEM Project (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) usually involves or encourages students to develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students. The “MCPF SPS Penang Adopted School” program at SJKT Nibong Tebal is an initiative by the State Education Department and MCPF of Penang, aimed at empowering students with guidance and support in various aspects of their development, particularly in the fields of co-curricular activities and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The presence of representatives from MCPF SPS and PPD SPS demonstrates a strong commitment to ensuring the success of this program. This program is expected to have a lasting positive impact on the students, not only in terms of academic and co-curricular achievements but also in their character development and leadership skills for the future.
