MCPF Penang SLC Member Ridzuan Md Zain represented MCPF SPT when he attended a meeting chaired by Encik Mohd Zaki bin Ablah, Penolong Pengarah Pencegahan AADK Pulau Pinang at the AADK SPT District Office on 25^th April 2022.  In attendance with the primary objective of focusing on preventing the misuse of drugs amongst the general public with attention on high risk areas within SPT Mukim 20. This meeting also looked at various avenues of how NGOs can be crucial partners in this War against Drug Abuse and Misuse. Various representatives from MPKK, Kariah Masjid, Rukun Tetangga, Women and Family Development, Bakti Brigade, Amanita – IPD SPT, PASKAM, PEMADAM SPT, Antidadah Squad – SPT, Drug Rehabilitation and other Youth Movements were also in attendance. This gathering underlines how important it is to realize that “Eradicating Drug Abuse is Our Collective Responsibility, Let’s Act Now” must be actioned upon by all.
