MCPF Penang Secretary cum SPT DLC Chairman Dr. EL Ching and SPT DLC Member Kenny Ho Kee Meng represented MCPF in a Dialogue Session between Royal Malaysia Police SPT District with Permatang Tinggi Community at the Surau Taman Perwira Permatang Tinggi on 20^th July 2019. The MC of the Event Encik Saadi b Hashim started off the program followed by a speech delivered by YB Kasthuriraani Patto (Member of Parliament, Bukit Kawan), a sharing session by ASP Azman b. Mohd Kayat (KBPJKK SPT cum Vice-Chairman (I) MCPF SPT DLC) and a ‘ceramah’ by Dr. EL Ching. In her address YB Kasthuriraani Patto, she touched on the crimes that occurred within the Batu Kawan Parliamentary Constituency, sexual crimes and violence within households and urge the residents present to address any issues through the correct Police channels. ASP Azman covered concerns pertaining to crime, drug and traffic offenses. He also urged the registration and use of VSP, laws governing the Police in their fight against crime and encouraged a two-way communication in resolving criminal issues. The OCS of Balai Bukit Tengah shared on his Police Station’s coverage and activities, Bukit Tengah crime statistics being under control, how to overcome crime and clarification on commercial crimes. Also present at this short event were En Fikri (representing YB Gooi Hsia Leung), Surau Chairman Hj Zainol b. Hj Ismail and Permatang Tinggi MPP Chairman Encik Ong Huai Hooi. RMP personnel present included Insp Hamzah b. Kasdi (OCS, Bkt Tengah), SI Eong S/O Endin Nim, Sjn 113399 Zulkarnain b. Mohd Hairani (BPJKK), Kpl 117288 Jamaluddin b. Yusoff (BPJKK) and RMP staff from Balai Bkt Tengah IPD SPT.
