MCPF Seberang Perai Tengah DLC Chairman Ridzuan Md. Zain was in attendance at the Penang SPT District Ministry of Education’s Anti-Smoking & Anti-Vaping Campaign Launch at SMK Pauh Jaya on 13th December 2023 that was officiated by Tn. Hj. Suhaimi bin Abdullah, PPD Officer for Daerah SPT. Also present from PPD SPT were En Shimsol bin Kasim, Deputy PPD Student Development Head; Pn. Suriyati binti Mohd Hussain, School Principal; Dr. Asmaliza binti Ismail, Senior Assistant of Student Affairs Division; Pn. Intan Baiduri binti Husin, Senior Assistant of Co-Curriculum, Teachers and 161 Form 3 Students. The Main Speaker was Dr. Asmaliza binti Ismail who spoke on the topic “Healthy Living: Prevent Smoking and Vaping”. The Education Ministry supports the recommended actions of the Basic Circular Letter (SPI) on the Recommendations Bill covering matters related to Smoking and Vaping in schools.
