MCPF SPT participates in Bullying Awareness in School Program at Dewan Astaka SK Kebun Sireh, Bukit Mertajam

A Program “Ceramah Gejala Buli di Sekolah” (Bullying Awareness in School Program) was successfully completed on 4th September 2025 at Dewan Astaka SK Kebun Sireh, Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Perai Tengah from 8:30 am till 10:30 am.

A total of 13 School Teachers attended: 1. En. Mohd Rizal bin Abdul Rahim (Penolong Kanan); 2. En. Ahmad Faiza bin Salleh (Penolong Kanan); 3. En. Mohamat Rizal bin Ramli (Guru Kaunseling); 4. En. Khairul Nizam bin Abd Wahab (Guru Disiplin); 5. Pn. Nadzura Ismail (Guru Akademik); 6. Pn. Mahfuzah binti Ismail (Guru Akademik); 7. Pn. Haritini binti Noor (Guru Akademik); 8. Pn. Fardinawati binti Kasmat (Guru Akademik); 9. Pn. Helmiza binti Ahmad (Guru Akademik); 10. Pn. Norhashidah binti Md Nor (Guru Akademik); 11. Cik Rozita binti Ramli (Guru Disiplin); 12. Pn. Yamuna a/p Krishnan (Guru Akademik); and, 13. Pn. Nur Ezzulliani binti Zulkifli (Guru Akademik). A total of 515 Students actively participated including 240 boys and 275 girls.


MCPF SPT District Liaison Committee was led by its 1. Chairman Encik Ridzuan Md Zain / also, the Invited Speaker); accompanied by 2. Mr. Thomas Goh – Vice Chairman (II); 3. Razalan Muhammad Zain – DLC Member; Also present was 4. Mr. Kathiraveloo a/l Thangiah – AJK PIBG – Persatuan Ibu Baba dan Guru SK Kebun Sireh (Committee Member, Parent Teachers Association, SK Kebun Sireh) / also MCPF Timur Laut DLC Member. Activities and Key Objectives covered encompass: 1. A reminder and awareness of the menace of bullying in the school; 2. Avoiding dangerous acts and negative impacts from bullying; 3. Making known to the students of the “Four Types of Bullying” and clarifying that such acts can either be intentional or unintentional; 4. How the students could take necessary actions when bullying was being done with an emphasis that any known bullying incident happening should be reported; 5. An interactive “Questions and Answers” session was incorporated to encourage students attentiveness in this program and being recognized / rewarded for their participation.
