The North Seberang Perai “Character Building Program” (Program Pembentukan Sahsiah Diri Peringkat IPD SPU 2024) was successfully carried out on 14^th November 2024 from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm at SMK Datuk Haji Abdul Kadir, Kepala Batas, Penang. This program was co-organized by 1. IPD SPU; 2. Pejabat Pendidikan (PPD); and, 3.MCPF SPU DLC. The program involved around 100 students from 10 SPU schools with the Primary Objective to allow participating students gain awareness to improve their personal character and discipline for their growth. In attendance from PDRM IPD SPU were DSP Siti Zaleha binti Hamzah, Division Head of Crime Prevention & Community Safety (also SPU DLC Vice-Chairman [I] ex-officio) alongside other Police officers and staff from IPD SPU. Insp. Muhammad Sallehuddin bin Mohamad and Insp. Khuzatul Faizuddin bin Aman were on hand to co-deliver an awareness talk on ‘Sexual Harassment’ to the attendees. The SPU District Education Office had Encik Khairul Anuar bin Hamat @Ahmad, Deputy Officer present. The School Principal of the hosting school SMK Datuk Haji Abdul Kadir Encik Mohd Nafir bin Adam Sahib was in attendance with school teachers from all 10 participating schools. MCPF SPU DLC Attendees were 1. Mr. Munusamy Muniandy, Chairman; 2. Encik Zammer bin Haidar Ali, Vice-Chairman (II); 3. Mr. Haribalan Gopal, Secretary; and, 4. Tuan Haji Habeeb Rahman, Committee Member. The 10 participating schools were 1. SMK Datuk Haji Abdul Kadir; 2. SMK Tasek Gelugor; 3. SMK Bertam Perdana; 4. SMK Dato’ Kailan; 5. SJK © Mak Mandin; 6.
