Penang Island Joint Northeast (Timur Laut) & Southwest (Barat Daya) Activity “Bengkel Pelarasan Program Dan Aktiviti Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah” / (Crime Prevention Club Program and Activity Alignment Workshop) was successfully completed on Wednesday 27th August 2025 (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm) at SMK Air Itam, Georgetown Penang. In Attendance were: 1. Tuan Fadzil Sadikin (Chief Asst. Director, Student Affairs, Penang State Education Department cum MCPF Penang SLC Member ex-officio JPNPP); 2. Tuan Hj. Mohd Roslan Darus (Officer, Student Affairs, Penang State Education Department; 3. Mr. James Mohan (Chairman, MCPF DLC Barat Daya); 4. Mr. Peter Paul Arokiyasamy (Secretary MCPF DLC Timur Laut); 5. Discipline Teachers and Counselling Teachers from Daerah Timur Laut (Northeast District) and Daerah Barat Daya (Southwest District) (16 schools). The Agenda covered: 1. MCPF overview by James Mohan to ensure better understanding and awareness of MCPF, Origins, Structure, Penang SLC / DLC set up, and Penang Strategic Partners); 2. Briefing of workshop objective by Tuan Fadzil Sadikin; 3. Workshop: 3.1 Discussion on activities and programs in line with crime prevention, discipline and character building among students. This will be a 3 year projection; and, 3.2 Tuan Fadzil Sadikin urged all the schools present to work closely with district MCPF for guidance and expertise on crime prevention efforts in schools. He also reiterated to all the teachers that MCPF is not a financial support NGO but one which extends intangible support like awareness and talks.
