MCPF Penang / Timur Laut DLC was a key collaborating partner with AADK P. Pinang / Daerah Timur Laut and CDERT Air Itam in a Program on alleviating Drug Abuse menace at AADK’s focused Kawasan Berisiko Tinggi (KBT) area of Mukim 13, North-East District. This was a follow-up to the earlier Kursus Asas Keselamatan KBT / Penglibatan Komunikasi Dua Hala Program held on 15^th January 2023 at Pusat Operasi DERT Air Itam. MCPF was represented by Felix Chuah, Chairman, Timur Laut DLC; Peter Paul Arokiyasamy, Committee Member, Timur Laut DLC; and JM Tan, Secretary, MCPF Penang. Ms  Lalithawathy a/p Kunaseelan, Head of AADK Daerah Timur Laut; Puan Norhiza bte Haji Lah and Encik Mohd Azizi bin Salim, Pegawai Penguatkuasa AADK Daerah Timur Laut  were present alongside other AADK P. Pinang / Daerah Timur Laut Staff. CDERT Air Itam were represented by Mr. Roy Looi Weng Kit; Mr Kenny Hoe, Chairman of KRT Desa Permata; Mr. Meehran, Chairman of KRT Desa Mawar and other KRT representatives from Desa Mawar, Medan Angsana, Green Garden and Desa Permata. Over 40 participants from these communities including Drug Abuse Rehabilitation program members were present. Highlights included talks by Puan Norhiza and Encik Mohd Azizi; Address by Ms. K. Lalithawathy; Dialogue session with the participants; Questionnaire answered by attendees and AADK Exhibition.
