MCPF Timur Laut DLC held its Meeting at MCPF Office, IPK Pulau Pinang on 7^th August 2024. The meeting was chaired by Timur Laut DLC Chairman Y.Bhg. Dato’ Felix Chuah Gim Chuan and attended by its Vice-Chairman II Y.Bhg. Dato’ Mohd Nashir Ya; Secretary Me. Peter Paul Arokiyasamy; Treasurer Mr. Teoh Kheng Tatt; and Committee Members Mr. Kathiraveloo Thangiah, Mr. Andy Ng Jui Bin and Ms Sally Ng Chit Peng. MCPF Committee Member Encik Rahumathullah bin Ibrabin was invited to brief the DLC Team with regards to an upcoming JPNPP – MCPF Penang Program “Sekolah Angkat” involving Primary and Secondary Schools. The initial 2024 Program will focus on 12 schools who would at as the exemplary models to other schools. This program will be part of Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah (KPJ) revival / reinvigoration efforts amongst Penang schools. Timur Laut DLC had decided on working with SJK(C) Beng Teik (Cawangan) – supported by Ms. Sally Ng  and SMK Jelutong – supported by Dato’ Mohd Nashir Ya and Peter Paul Arokiyasamy focusing on the key concerns of School Bullying and Sexual Harassment. This was a positive and productive MCPF North-East DLC Meeting.
