A Memorandum of Understanding between RMP Penang, MCPF Penang and VIVEKKAM & 10 stakeholder NGOs in SPS was signed at the Service Centre of YB Kasturi Patto (Member of Parliament, Batu Kawan) / VIVEKKAM Office on 18^th January 2020. MCPF SLC Member cum SPS DLC Chairman Paramaguru Balan Moghan and MCPF SLC Member cum SPS DLC Vice-Chairman (II) Maj. (Rtd) Wan Abd Hamid bin Wan Mahmood represented MCPF SPS DLC in this meeting where YB Kasturi Patto was also present. RMP Penang were represented by DSP Sathiasivam a/l Maniam of JPJKK IPK Penang, DSP Mohan of Jabatan Ketenteraman Awam IPK Penang and ASP Nagin of D9 Operations IPK Penang. Dr. Asaithamby, President of Persatuan Pertubuhan VIVEKKAM Malaysia led the stakeholder NGOs. Details pertaining to a forthcoming 22^nd February 2020 “Youth Empowerment Symposium” (YES) with the motivational theme of “Together Towards Tomorrow” to be held at Institut Latihan Perindustrian Arumugam Pillai, Nibong Tebal was a focused topic for deliberation.
