Within just slightly over two months of positive and determined campaign within Penang state by the Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, the increase in VSP downloads and successful registered users to over 16,000+ have been very encouraging. The three key statistics shows that together with its collaborative partners in the industries, communities and NGOs like MCPF, and, the strong press publicity. Penang ranks a decent 5th om the nationwide statistics, 6th when combined together with the longstanding “Rakan Cop” program and a very commendable 3rd place when measured by per 100,000 population.
