About 200 students, 10 teachers and Headmaster of Sekolah Menengah Teknik Tengku Abdul Rahman Putra Pulau Pinang had the honor to be able interact with our ‘Men in Blue’ during the visit of YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah (Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, RMP Penang Contingent cum MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman [I]) and members of his Senior Police staff in a Program ‘Sentuhan Kasih PDRM P. Pinang’ on 11th April 2019. This simple program was one to not only share the success of RMP but also to demonstrate its commitment to be ‘One with the Community’. It was also to open a friendly avenue for the school students and teachers to have a trustworthy understanding and relationship in enhancing communication with and feedback with the RMP. Some 39 needy students were also handed out school bags and school shoes. The attendees were also made more aware about the operational aspects of MPVs, Traffic Investigation and Enforcement, Anti-Narcotics efforts and Firearms used by the RMP. Accompanying SAC Dato’ Anil Shah were Supt. Tan Cheng San (Staff Officer, CPCSD Department – Ground Operations); Supt. Saw Hock Tek (Staff Officer, CPCSD Department – Community Policy cum MCPF Penang ex-Officio SLC Member); DAP Sathasivam A/L Maniam (DSP, Community Coordination); ASP Hilmi bin Suaib; ASP Donny AK John Jubang; ASP Teh Teng Ai; Insp Mohd Rezan bin Yussop and Insp Mohd Khairul Izaat bin Md Nasir.
