MCPF Penang in collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police, Penang Contingent and the State Education Department, successfully held a ½ “Seminar Pemantapan Integrasi – Dekat Di Hati” at SMK Bandar Tasek Mutiara, Simpang Ampat, Nibong Tebal (Seberang Perai Selatan) on 3rd May 2017. The School Principal Cikgu Abul Halim bin Hussin delivered the Welcome Speech followed by an Address by Y.Bhg Dato’ Syed Jaafar Syed Ali, Chairman – MCPF Penang. The Seminar was officially launched by YDH CP Datuk Wira Chuah Ghee Lye who also delivered the keynote address. Two enthralling talks by YDH DSP Noor Azeiah Bt. Che Sat (Deputy Head of Jabatan Integriti dan Pematuhan Standard, PDRM Penang) and Y.Bhg. Tuan Hj. Bahari bin Samsudin from JPN) were then given to the students in attendance. The Event was officially closed by YDH SAC Dato’ Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim, Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, PDRM Penang.
In his Keynote address to the school audience and later iterated at the Press Conference, YDH CP Datuk Wira Chuah Ghee Lye emphasized on the importance of monitoring by the Police on untoward activities like Gangsterism and Bullying in schools. Additionally concerns regarding extortion, vandalism, drug abuse and sexual crimes were highlighted. He also emphasized on the importance of the roles played by parents, school teachers, Education Department, PDRM and MCPF.

This highly successful event chaired by MCPF Penang SLC Member Maj. (H) M. Kaleessvaran was also attended by MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman (II) Dato’ K. Pulayantran, Secretary Rosli Mohamad Ali, Treasurer Harikumar Katherasen, SLC Members EL Ching, Munusamy Muniandy and JM Tan as well as MCPF Member Paramguru Balan. The enthusiastic school crowd numbered well over 1,200 and also attended by teachers and representatives from the PIBG.


The event received wide Press coverage that included Berita Harian Metro, Metro Online, The Star Metro North, Sinar Harian, Kwong Wah Yit Poh and Tamil Nesan.
