On 4th October 2018, the delegates made an official visit to KAPOLDA Metro Jaya where they were warmly welcomed by Yth. Bapak. KBP Dr. Nicol Afinta (Director of Criminal Investigation) and also heard sharing by Yth. Bapak Tubagus Ami P. (Special Detachment 88 Anti-Terror Unit) and Yth. Bapak KBP Suwondo Nainggolan (Directorate of Drug Investigation). Encik Rosli Mohamed Ali (Vice-Chairman [II], MCPF Penang) shared a brief overview on MCPF in general and selected MCPF Penang 2018 Programs, Activities and Events. The Q & A Session was indeed a positive and lively interchange of areas of common interest in Community Policing, Anti-Terrorism and challenges with regards to illegal Drugs / Narcotics trade. The Penang delegates gained good insights on the Organizational Structure of the Indonesian National Police (Kepolisan Negara Republik Indonesia); Protection areas covered by the Directorate of Vital Objects Protection; Modus Operandi of Terrorists and Soft / Hard Counter-Measures taken; and challenges facing the Directorate of Drug Investigation especially pertaining to those involving drug cartels / dealers and distributors from Malaysia.
