Kudos to efforts by Royal Malaysia Police Penang Contingent, especially to the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department who have worked relentlessly with the community at large and key supportive NGOs like MCPF Penang for their sustained stellar position of being NUMERO UNO amongst all contingents based on PER 100,000 Population. The Penang State statistics at 4,722 registrants (as at 26^th December 2018) shows a substantial increase from 3,867 in 12^th July 2018. This figure is also 2.61X better than the nationwide stats of 1,828. Negeri Sembilan which came in 2^nd (as at 26^th December 2018) at 3,105 new VSP registrants is 1.69X better than the nationwide average. Incidentally, the nationwide total new VSP registrants monitored from 25^th March 2017 till 26^th December 2018 has broken the 600,000 milestone mark. At the same time, ALL 14 RMP Contingents have now successfully crossed the 1,000 per 100,000 population level. Not a bad reflection of citizens who have taken in the VSP application to be downloaded onto their smartphones!
