MCPF Penang has taken note that WCC Annual Review 2022 recognizing Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation as amongst its Major Donors and Sponsors. WCC has also acknowledged MCPF as one of its many key Partners and Supporting Agencies. MCPF Penang has been facilitative in this progress and will going forward will continue to work in cognizance with this non-profit, tax exempt organization established in 1985 dedicated to the elimination of violence against women and children, and the promotion of gender equality and social justice. WCC provides services in counselling, court support, and temporary shelter. It also conducts outreach programmes in schools and communities, and advocates for legal and policy reforms affecting women and children. It is also a member of the Joint Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG) which actively campaigns for policy and legal reforms.
