
Many familiar faces were present at a Sikh community Program commemorating the 211th Police Day celebrations held at the Penang Sikh Police Gurdwara, IPD Timur Laut on 6th April 2018. PDRM stalwarts in attendance included YDH CP Dato’ A. Thaiveegan (MCPF Penang Honorary Advisor), YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah (Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department / MCPF Penang Vice-Chairman (I), YDH ACP Amarpall Singh (Deputy Head, Special Branch, IPK Penang), YDH Supt. Anbalagan (OCPD Barat Daya / MCPF Penang Barat Daya DLC Advisor), YDH Supt. Saravanan (Deputy OCPD Timur Laut – Operations), YDH Supt. Nermaljit Singh (JPJKK, IPK Penang) and various Heads of Departments and OCPDs. Recognizable public figures in attendance included Dato’ Paduka Lakhbir Singh, Dato’ Ajit Singh Jessy, Dato’ Balvinder Singh, Professor Dr. Rabindarjeet Singh, Dato’ Dr. Bhupinder Singh and Dato’ Baljit Singh. Also in attendance were over 300 members of the Sikh community and the Press / Media. It is heartening to note that in commemorating this 211th Police Day, the beautiful tapestry of our Malaysian multi-ethnicity, multi-religious and multi-cultural support with the PDRM continues to be strengthened.
