YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah, Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department – RMP Penang was accompanied by 2 Senior Police Officers and 27 Police Staff Members to attend a Town Hall at the SETIA SPICE Complex on 20th September 2018. They were amongst a crowd estimated at around 900 who had come to hear from a citizen’s point of view about the Pan Island Link (PIL 1). The Chief Minister of Penang YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow and the Federal Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (Malaysia) YB Yeo Bee Yin addressed the large crowd in attendance. Also present were YB Dato’ IR Hj. Ahmad Zakiyuddin bin Abdul Rahman, Deputy Chief Minister I of Penang), YB Professor Dr. Ramasamy A/: Palanisamy, Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang, Penang EXCO Members, Penang State Assemblymen, Head of Departments, Members from Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) and Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MPSP) and JKKK from North-East (Timur Laut) and South-West (Barat Daya) Districts of Penang, A Presentation was also made by Wiranda (M) Sdn. Bhd.

The interest taken by the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, RMP Penang Contingent is a good sign the Safety and Security of Penang State is not just about the present but even more importantly about the future and how various State Government development plans / projects may have its impact.
