
Over 150 residents of Machang Bubok State Seat gathered at the “Tabika Perpaduan Taman Selamat, Lorong 5, Taman Selamat, Bukit Mertajam, SPT on 21st September 2018 to attend a “Program Majlis Jalinan Mesra” (Coordination Program) with the State Assemblyman of Machang Bubok State Seat YB Lee Khai Loon and KP Perpaduan organized by Kelab Rukun Tetangga (KRT) Machang Bubok. This evening program was attended by Y.Bhg. Datuk Baharin bin Idris, Director,-General of the National Unity and Integration; YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah, Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety, RMP Penang; Tuan Mohd Saidi bin Midin, Director of Unity, Penang; YDH ACP Nik Ros Azhan bin Nik Abdul Hamid, OCPD of Seberang Perai Tengah (cum MCPF SPT DLC Advisor); Cik Lizza Imelia Binti M. Sulanah, Communications Officer; Encik Tang Tiam Hock, Director of Urusan Sunrise Manner Sdn. Bhd.; Chairman of Kelab Rukun Tetangga Taman Selamat; and Ketua Polis Balai Machang Bubok. Various speeches to the community present were made by the YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah; YB Lee Khai Loon and Y.Bhg. Datuk Baharin bin Idris.
This program emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation by the various sectors of the community; the critical relationship of the Community and RMP and the need to maintain a harmonious, safe and secure environment. The community at large need to play their part as the extended eyes and ears of the Royal Malaysia Police and the use of VSP and alertness of the general public to avoid being caught in scams are crucial elements in the reduction of crimes in Penang and its various Districts.
