MCPF North-East (Timur Laut) District Liaison Committee led by its DLC Chairman JM Tan met up with the Timur Laut OCPD YDH ACP Che Zaimani bin Che Awang at his office in IPD Timur Laut, George Town on 22^nd February 2019. It was a positive meeting of the minds with the TLDLC Advisor ACP Che Zaimani who was handed his Letter of Appointment signed off by Y. Bhg. Dato’ Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali, Chairman of MCPF Penang State Liaison Committee.. Other attendees were IPD Timur Laut JPJKK representative Sgt. Major Halim (who attended on behalf of YDH DSP Chee Yin Kein – MCPF TLDLC Vice-Chairman [I]); Felix Chuah Gim Chuan – MCPF TLDLC Vice-Chairman (II); Ronald Cecil Aeria – MCPF TLDLC Secretary; Ridzuan Md Zain – MCPF TLDLC Member; Kathiraveloo Thangiah – MCPF TLDLC Member and Tuan Abul Qalam (representing MCPF TLDLC Member Tuan Mohd Fahmy of Jabatan Pendidikan Daerah Timur Laut). ACP Che Zaimani highlighted contemporary key concerns pertaining to Crime within the North-East District encompassing areas like Cyber / Telco Crimes, Drugs, Rape cases and highly disconcerting occurrences of suicide cases. JM Tan and the DLC Team shared an overview of MCPF, 2018 accomplishments and 2019 Plans. It was really heartening to obtain ACP Che Zaimani’s immediate support to have an MCPF TLDLC Notice Board (emulating that of MCPF SPT DLC) within IPD Timur Laut itself.
