An Indian Youth Dialog Session with PDRM took place at Dewan Kulia Utama Politeknik Seberang Jaya during the evening of 25^th July 2018. More than 300 youths from Politeknik Seberang Perai, Institut Latihan Perindustrian Seberang Perai, Institut Latihan Perindustrian Kepala Batas and Malaysia Hindu Sangam Youth Bureau participated. YDH CP Dato’ Seri A. Thaiveegan, Chief Police Officer of Penang officiated at this event.

Special guests included the Honorable Sri Kasi Datuk RS Mohan Shah – President, Malaysia Hindu Sangam; Dato’ K. Pulayantran – Deputy Chairman, MCPF Penang and Vice-Chairman MCPF; YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Anil Shah – Head of Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department RMP of Penang Contingent; Mr. G. Mariappan – Head of Curriculum and Sports Department, Politeknik Seberang Perai; Mr. Thevaram Nayagan G. Shanmugam – Vice-President, Malaysia Hindu Sangam; Mr. M. Muniandy – Chairman, MHS Penang State Council; YDH ACP Nik Ros Azhan bin Nik Abdul Rahman – OCPD of Seberang Perai Tengah. The Dialog Session focused on gangsterism and drug usages among Indian Youths. Many participating youths contributed their views, inputs and suggestions to counteract the concerns. The Organizing Committee expressed their appreciation to all the officers and staff of PDRM for their concerted efforts to make this a most beneficial event to help reduce crime. Spotted amongst the attendees were MCPF Penang Secretary / SPT DLC Chairman EL Ching, as well as MCPF Penang SLC Members Paramguru Balan Moghan and Ridzuan Md Zain.
