The Launching Ceremony of Ambassadors of Character at Penang State District Levels was also carried out simultaneously as the National Level Event. MCPF Barat Daya District Liaison Committee Chairman James Mohan was at SMK Pondok Upeh Balik Pulau for the South-West District Launching. The program was officiated and launched by Encik Shamsul Fairuz bin Mohd Nor, Education Officer of Barat Daya District. The OCPD YDH Supt. Kamarul Rizal bin Jenal delivered the address on behalf of IGP of Malaysia YDH IG Razarudin bin Husain. Also present were other Police Staff of Barat Daya IPD and other VIPs. This is a good program to mould the characters of students at the school level itself before they go out and face the real world. As in the National Level event, three student ambassador from this school were selected to propagate the initiative. Kudos to the Education Ministry for embarking on such program.
