In an official communique released by Bukit Aman on 24^th March 2022, PDRM Penang will be having changes amongst some of its top brass. YDH ACP Mohd Shukairy bin Abd Sabhe will move from Bukit Aman’s Narcotics Department to take over the helm of Head of Department Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Narcotic). YDH P/ACP Mohd Ismail bin Ibrahim will be moving to Penang from Johor to take over as Head of Department, Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (Ketua Jabatan Integriti dan Pematuhan Standard). His promotion to ACP will see him taking over from outgoing YDH ACP Liong Sau Lai who takes over his mirror position in Johor. YDH Supt Nasri bin Jamaluddin is promoted to ACP and will be taking over as Deputy HOD, Special Branch, Management and Coordination (Timbalan Ketua Cawangan Khas Pengurusan dan Koordinasi). YDH Supt Mohd Mustafa bin Bidin, Deputy OCPD of Seberang Perai Tengah is promoted to ACP and will assume duties as the Deputy Director (D6) Technical Assistance, Criminal Investigation Department Bukit Aman.
