MCPF Penang Seberang Perai Selatan DLC Chairman Mr. Paramaguru Balan Moghan invited fellow Seberang Perai Tengah DLC Chairman Encik Ridzuan Md Zain and Seberang Perai Utara DLC Chairman Mr. Munusamy Munusamy to attend the 15^th Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate Penang State Championships 2024 at Dewan Chong Kuang, Sungai Bakap on 21^st July 2024. This Sports Event was held with the key objectives to 1. To instil a strong sense of discipline among students learning Martial Arts especially Karate; 2. To foster a healthy spirit in competing through sports; 3. Integration of students among various practitioners of Karate styles, associations and clubs assisted by judges from Malaysia Karate Federation (MAKAF); and, 4. Being supported and encouraged by the families of the students with the supportive attendance. The 670 participants of the Championship were motivated by the presence of VIPs and around 1,500 audience in the hall. VIPs spotted included YB Jason H’ng Mooi Ling (Jawi State Assemblyman / State EXCO for Local Government and Town & Village Planning) and YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo a/l Somu (Perai State Assemblyman / State EXCO for Housing and Environment). A good program promoting “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind to encourage Healthy / Crime Free Living Style”.
