MCPF Penang Deputy Chairman cum SPS DLC Chairman Dato’ K. Pulayantran and MCPF Penang SLC Member cum SPS DLC Secretary Paramguru Balan Moghan attended the Opening Ceremony of the Indian Heritage Museum sited at 225 & 221, Jalan Macalister, George Town, Penang on 1st May 2018. The event was officiated by YB Professor Dr. P. Ramasamy (caretaker Deputy Chief Minister [II] of Penang). Visiting Museums by members of the public and in particular by our school going youths helps to encourage better appreciation and understanding of historical and cultural aspects of one’s roots embodying a healthier all round education. This is an ethnography museum that was set up by the Hindu Endowments Board in support of private collectors Mr. & Mrs. Prakash Jakathesan, who collection forms the bulk of the exhibits.
