A Seminar entitled “Bengkel Kawal Selia Kendiri dan Keselamatan Internet” [“Self-Regulation & Internet Security”] was organized by the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF). Participants learned that ‘Negative Content’ as per the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Code covers seven key aspects – ‘Indecent or Obscene’, ‘Riddled with bad language’, ‘Violent’, ‘Tarnished by false information’, ‘Risky for children’, ‘Menacing’ and ‘Libelous and Slanderous’. The MCPF Penang attendees were Rosli Mohamed Ali, Maj. (H) M. Kaleessvaran, JM Tan, Nasrul Faizal, Puan Noor Asa Elang, EL Ching, James Mohan and Harikumar Katherasen.
