Bengkel “DESIGN THINKING” Kampong Aspirasi Bebas Dadah (KABD) Mukim 21. Daerah Seberang Perai Tengah Closing Ceremony was officiated by Yang Berusaha Encik Muhamad Shukur Bin Abdul Razak Penolong Pegawai Daerah. Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah Seberang Perai Tengah on Sunday, 26th July 2026 at Dewan Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar As Siddiq, Taman Guar Perahu, Mukim 21, Seberang Perai Tengah, Pulau Pinang.

The Program Agenda covered: 1. The arrival of Invited Participants and AADK Officers; 2. Briefing by Tuan Mohd Hamdan Syatri bin Ab Halim from AADK on the Key outcomes of the Workshop; 3. A discussion session and brainstorming by 8 breakout group participants in each assigned segment. 4. Presentation by each group and being reviewed and comments by the panellist; 5. Closing ceremony; 6. Luncheon

The Key Points for interactive Workshop included: 1. Planning and coming up with ideas to be integrated by each group and comprehensive deployment approach to the attain Drug-free villages; 2. Mobilising efforts by collaborative participation of the communities, government departments and NGOs by Enhancement towards Prevention of Drugs Abuse by the Local Community; 3. Encouraging critical and creative thinking to relevant parties during the participants presentation rollout focusing on combating Drugs Abuse.

Also in Attendance were 3 panelists: 1. Yang DiHormati Puan Roswati binti Apin, Director of Penang AADK; 2. YBrs. Puan Fauziah@ Puziah binti Dan, Head of AADK SPT District, 3. YBrs Encik Muhamad Shukur Bin Abdul Razak, ADO Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah SPT Penolong Pegawai Daerah; and 4. 34 participants were invited from various fields.

Security Segment presented a targeted 3 Events ‘finalised’ based on review and comment by the panelist. This sub-group consisted: 1. Ridzuan Md Zain, Chairman DLC SPT-MCPF; 2. SM Shamsul Bahrin bin Lazim, PDRM IPD SPT; 3. SI Mohd Syahimi Mohd Isa, PDRM Kubang Semang Police Station; 4. Sgt. Kartini Abd. Rahman, PDRM Kubang Semang Police Station; 5. CPL Mohd Najmi Yusof, PDRM Kubang Semang Police Station; 6. Muhammad Aidil bin Fadzil – PDRM Penanti Police Station 7. Norddin Madon, Veteran Club Taman Guar Perahu 8. Puan Siti Sarah binti Abdul Wahab, Coordinator from AADK SPT. Conclusion: The challenges and pathway to heighten Drug Abuse / Misuse with focused targeted community continues. MCPF Penang / SPT efforts with the leadership of AADK Pulau Pinang remains steadfast.
